A literary wizard and a big hill

Another hard frost this morning as the spaniel and I set off from Christmas Common to try out a new route around, down and over Watlington Hill on the Chiltern escarpment. Here's the view north-west towards Oxford. Our route took us past a very nice house called Dumble Dore, not to be confused with Dumbledore, headmaster of Hogwarts School of  Witchcraft and Wizardry in the Harry Potter novels. Alas the house is not for sale.
