Towards the Light….

We have spent the day in the Abel Tasman Park. There were five in our group. Me, Margaret, friend Tanya and her son Josh. Lastly son James who is holidaying here from the UK. We walked into the Park from Marahau. A very warm day luckily with the shade of the bush in many areas. The Department of Conservation has done a huge job dealing with multiple landslides caused during severe storms last year. We walked 13.5 kms. Lunched at Anchorage and returned to Marahau via Water taxi at 5.pm. Then a delicious meal of pizzas at the Park Cafe. An amazing day.
