Shepherds be warned

Cracking sky this morning (thanks to Jen for the picture).

Finally had the car in for its evaluation following the bump before Christmas. Once the insurance company agrees with the body shop’s estimate we’ll get a date for repair, who knows when though.

We also found out (because they called us) that our amazing friend in Australia, Le, is coming to visit us in May. They are spending 7 weeks travelling around Europe and leaving the best till last with us. Thinking castles, distilleries and mountains will slightly blow their mind!

You might think 7 weeks is impressive time off. Well, if you work for the same company in Australia you get long service leave. In the case of Western Australia that is 8 and two third weeks. I’ll be lucky if I get a gift card for John Lewis when I hit 10 years in a couple of months. Dang it.
