Hard at work!

The canal is situated just outside our back door, and as such we often have to cross it to get into town, this is usually our crossing point, at the moment however the lock gate is going under repair.

I’m not entirely sure what they are doing but walking past today, it did not smell nice at all, I couldn’t see much of what were they doing!

I don’t know if you can make out in the photo that parts of the canal are frozen due to the cold snap we are having! Further along the river people have taken to throwing beer bottles and their rubbish on it!

A quiet day today, I’m working in Birmingham over the weekend and have today and tomorrow off! After a long time of just marking it felt weird to be off and I’m sure working the weekend will feel odd too!
