Florence watches...

...with great interest as Jan lights the wood-burner.
This was in the afternoon. The routine now is a morning out in the snow, lunch, a nap for the kids, and then to our house for chat and dinner. After that the visitors return to The Red House, children go to sleep, and then Jan and I join Isaac and Eleanor for a little adult time.
PS Jan did remove her drink from the stove before it got hot!
