A drop in at the boat club but it was so cold I couldn’t summon up much enthusiasm for rolling up my sleeves and setting to. Fixing a new shaft anode was the extent of my work. Then I stepped along to Leith to pay in a boat club cheque. Och, it was all very lovely under a blue sky. 
On TV the Last of Us has started its serialisation so we greedily devoured that. I just wished I had a melee weapon to hand, as it’s remarkably. similar to the game. Oh, and John Stonehouse has been getting a bit of a reprise: the MP that did a runner. What a strange little tale. I could name a few that I wish would do that right now, just to geese some peace.
