Immaculate

£1.99 in Oxfam, I couldn't resist. Always had a soft-spot for this lot: my friend Will's sister knew someone who was in the band and he gave Will a D90 ahead of the release of their first album which had the album on one side and demos, b-sides and stuff on the other and we both listened to it a lot, as I recall, in 1984, despite a stern injunction against making any copies... Of course, they look and sound exactly like what you'd get if you asked Central Casting for an '80's band', kind of a like a venn diagram of the Psychedelic Furs and 'This is the Sea...'; takes me right back
