Friday on the canal: the state of play

The canal is well frozen over now and no I won't be skating on it. (If you go through weak ice, how are you going to get out?) I'm out of sorts today. The local shop had a long queue of school kids, so I didn't bother shopping. I'm supposed to be using Twitter to pitch my unfinished novel to publishers and literary agents. If you use a certain hashtag you have a 12 hour window to do it. I sent in three different tweets I'd worked out because I might as well do it, but not with any wonderful feeling.
