Code Orange

Got home in the nick of time in regard to the road conditions weather wise ~ it snowed when driving back home the 130 kms but wasn't slippery yet on the highways and I counted myself lucky ~ Code Orange it was called.

The foreground lids up the stump of the Prunus Serrulata what blossomed every Spring so beautifully and was brutally taken away Monday last at the orders of... the city council?! I haven't got a clue who ordered this take-away of the birds love nests and so.
