Huston we have a problem

I'm not a fan of black headed gulls, which are rather too ubiquitous for my taste.  But I thought I'd show you this one, as clearly he's has a bit of an accident with his landing gear at some point.  

He's successfully holding his right leg retracted up against his body (and as a result you can't see it), but he seems to have problems doing the same with his left leg, which seems to be dangling a bit limply.

Nature being red in tooth and claw I suspect that he's destined not to last too long I'm afraid.
