Having a local, family-run bakery sounds great, but it only works if what they produce tastes good. Unfortunately our local baker produces cakes, buns and bread that would make Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood turn in their graves (so to speak). Light on fresh, healthy ingredients, heavy on food colouring.

So, cakes, please tear yourself away from your life in the rural north, and come and open a bakery to feed the poor deprived citizens of Leith!
