Designer purple cast

Mr SK here back on blip duty today.  Almost completed our "Grand Tour" of the Cotswold Hospitals today with a visit to see theTrauma Orthopedic Consultant at Gloucester Royal.  We are only missing Cirencester from a full set of hospitals in three days: Moreton, Cheltenham, Gloucester.  Consultant is happy with the way the bones have been set and SK may get away without surgery to plate the break.  Another Xray next Friday will confirm if this is the case.  The cast put on at A&E was only temporary and this was replaced with a much more sophisticated item today.  And you could choose the colour from a veritable rainbow of options. SK chose her favourite purple. Thanks again to the brilliant front line staff in the NHS.   I hadn't realised that SK had been taking bird photos yesterday - she subsequently complained that changing lenses hurt her broken wrist!!!  Even my sternest Matrons voice has little effect trying to get her to rest her arm.
