Rite of passage

Grandson attained the age of 17 recently and in the UK that allows him to obtain a provisional license and start learning to drive.

This is his fourth lesson and he has sufficient skill for the instructor to let him drive straight away and enter the busy main road at the top of our front garden - rather than be taken to a quiet road somewhere before being allowed behind the wheel.
