Once A railway bridge

At Praze that carried the branch line from Helston.it was closed in early 1960s Beeching cuts.i often travelled from Helston to Gwinear to pick up the main line to Plymouth also Wales.Helston railway is now a heritage railway which aims to rebuild and preserve as much as possible of the former GWR Helston railway between Nancegollen and Water-Ma-Trout on the outskirts of Helston.it has no paid staff therefore rely on a dedicated group of volunteers to develop and operate .it was 15 years ago of a vision by a small number of enthusiasts to reopen a section of the Helston branch line.journey there and back is 40 minutes. Opens again in the spring. There is a steam engine as well as diesel plus a buffet in the restored railway carriage. The trains had been busy up to Christmas being the santa train which was very poplar with families.
