A useful morning's work
A work party for Cumbria Wildlife Trust checking the trees which have been planted as a woodland link between Craggy and Dorothy Farrer's Woods in Staveley. Our job was to check the supports where the saplings had been blown over by the wind or knocked by deer, and of course admire the view as we enjoyed our coffee and cake on such a sunny slope.
