‘The Island’

Just read locals call the Isle of Wight ‘the Island’.

Met friends M & J for a snack at Dane & Port (organic & vegan). Owned by a lovely couple. He’s Danish and she’s Portuguese – hence the name. Decorated in a rustic style with lots of gorgeous green plants.

No choice, just the menu of the day, basically using pulses and seasonal vegetables, well spiced. Had a good catch up. Mr B came to fetch me and we popped into M&S before returning home.

Suspect it’s freezing cold out. We’re invited for drinks, to E, in a few minutes for a drink, so need to get ready.
