Cosy

At lunchtime, met our old friends Mart & Elmer who had come up from Torquay to visit Mart’s mum who is in the same care home as Tess’s dad was. We had a good catch up over a pint and sandwich in Wetherspoon’s and commiserated over the fortunes of our football teams (a common theme over the years!), though at least Yeovil currently have the bragging rights after our New Year’s Day win.

This morning, while Tess was at Keep Fat, I was sawing and chopping wood for the fire; tonight we’re reaping the benefits. Definitely a night for a roaring fire.
