Today's the day .......................... for a meeting

There are plenty of worse places to go for a Committee Meeting than the village of New Galloway nestling in the hills above Loch Ken.

It was such a lovely day too and the journey there and back, showed the Galloway countryside at its most beautiful.  Will came along for the ride - and while I was in the meeting, he went over to Balmaclellan and did a watercolour painting of the view from there across to snow-capped Rhinns (see extra).

The above was taken on the way home, just as the sun disappeared behind the hills and turned everything golden ......................
