A visit to the metropolis today with all trains running! I wanted to see a couple of exhibitions at the Photographers' Gallery and very glad I made the journey.  The work of Chris Killip is mind blowing! He documented the economic shifts in the North of England in the 70s and 80s; it certainly tells the story very powerfully. This is only on until 19th Feb so do go if you can.

I also popped along to Tate Modern for the Cezanne exhibition.  Very 'Cezanne' but rather too many school trip visits for my liking!
