Menorca, Research Day 6 of 10

Today was mostly cloudy and much cooler, which made walking research easier and less tiring - although the light wasn't the best for photos.

This pic was taken by fellow researcher D during a route along Menorca's north coast which includes the remains of an ancient pre-Christian church, uncovered quite recently in a disused field. Interesting, though presently too overgrown to make a good blip.

There are lots of herbs growing wild here and you often see islanders collecting them, along with wild figs which seem to grow almost everywhere. The air is always scented by something pleasant on almost every walking route.

This is me and a wild fennel, one of many thousands on the island.
