St Aiden

Finally made it to Holy Island. I was looking forward to this part of the walk most, to see the waders on the sands either side of the causeway. Unfortunately it rained and blew so hard that we both got wet through to our skins and had no time to stand and stare, just to walk as fast as possible to get to the hotel and out of the weather.

It eased off slightly after lunch so we went off for a totter near the hotel - to the priory.
