A GOLDEN REWARD

ROSES are traditionally pruned hard in December & January in this area; but this YELLOW beauty missed the cut. Angus & I walk by this house often & the variety of
yellow ROSES always remind me why they are my favorite.

It was a cold, windy morning on our walk,
but Angus did not mind at all. Since my walking partner had an appointment, we
took the long way home. All those years of living in the Midwest, where Winters are brutally cold, prepared us for leaning into
the wind.

That YELLOW ROSE was our reward.
