Still Standing

This is a part of a rather large oil painting by Yvonne P Hair. This hangs in our bedroom, occupying most of one wall.

It is inspired by the Callanish Stones located on the West coast of Lewis, an island in the Outer Hebrides. We purchased the painting from Yvonne at her graduation show about 35 years ago.

Pat visited Callanish several years ago, but I have still to visit.I plan to visit this year as it could form a part of my presentation on Sacred Scotland. 

‘Herr Doktor’ bought a painting from Yvonne at the same event.
