Spent a very enjoyable day going round the Loch Lomond Quilt Show, it is held in various venues in and around Dumbarton and some of the churches have tea, soup and home baking, so you have to sample the baking
Spoke to Art Quilter "Frieda" and I was the 5th blipper she had met today. It was great to see the Journal Quilts up close to see all the detail, still not sure how she manages to fit all the sewing in
The quilts in today's blip is part of the collection of quilts required to cover Hampden Stadium on the 8th June this year. 5000 metres of quilts are required. It is to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer Scotland. The photo shows only a small section, they were covering the side and middle pews of the church so you can imagine how many there are.
The sun shone today and is still shining at the moment 5.30pm it would have been a great day to be out working in the garden, so maybe tomorrow that is what I will do
