The Birds Came In Two By Two

There have been more birds in the garden today than I have seen for some time.  There have been these two doves and two magpies. Three pigeons, several great tits, a wren and a robin.  The doves and the magpies were the only ones who stayed around long enough for me to photograph.
The sun has been strong this afternoon, but not enough to raise the temperature.  However the day did not start out very promising with fog first thing ( see extra ).  Once the fog had lifted it has been a pleasant day even if cold.
