Foiled again

I went out for a chilly walk
And the only sound I heard 
Was lots of singing in the trees
- but I didn’t see a bird.

I walked beside a woodland path
For nearly half an hour.
The grass was green and looked so nice
- but I didn’t see a flower.

Back home, I went , quite photo-less ! 
That really bothered me.
But what’s this creature made of glass ?
Another bloody bee !

It should have been a squirrel, because today is Squirrel Appreciation Day. I couldn’t even find one, much less appreciate it.
