A Frozen Challenge...

...'they weren't kidding!!' thought this Starling. 

'It was simple' they said 'No problem' they said, 'Easy, straightforward...'

'Just find the golden suet nugget hidden in the bird feeder, and you'll win a luxury weekend break away to a luxury resort - 'Starlings Are Us'

Except, they hadn't told him there was a time limit in order to find it, and the Starling Weather Presenters had promised that there would be no ice or frost, even cloudy, just right for the challenge.

Sadly, they got it completely wrong, and had been busy this morning saying there were technical glitches in the system, and couldn't give a forecast. This Starling knew however, just where he was going to stick that nugget, with a great deal of pleasure!!

It was bitter and cold, and not at all welcoming, but enough of the stupid human welcoming committee he had evaded ;-) you'll be glad to know he found the nugget, and now was one hugely happy Starling, with a wife who now had even MORE to be noisy about!
