Sunshine Yellow

Frosty but lovely and sunny. I stood with my back to the west this afternoon enjoying the apricity as I took this image of a fly on the lambs' tails.

As I was standing by the lake this morning I caught sight of a bird landing in a willow which I thought might be Kes. I got a couple of poor shots. When I looked on screen it wasn't Kes as it had yellow eyes. A sparrowhawk, one of the stars of Winterwatch.
