SATURDAY - North Wales 

The Clean Police team arrived at 07:15 am this morning and set about cleaning the two rooms which they didn't get round to last Wednesday. They have done an excellent job. We are now waiting for the decorator.

After a chat with our new neighbours, we headed back to Denbigh to pick up our belongings and then over to Rhyl where I had a walk on the beach late afternoon and a cappuccino in the 1891 theatre bar.

Then a 95 mile drive home to West Yorkshire during which the temperature plummeted from a balmy 5ºC in North Wales to a chilly - 2ºC in Calderdale where I had to clear the snow from the driveway in order to get the car into the garage.

An Ocado delivery by David in the Fig Van this evening, a pizza for supper and a catch up with last Monday's BBC2 quiz shows before bed.
