Frozen sea

If you look carefully, you can see a sheen of ice on the water. The white stuff in the foreground is ice that formed on the sea, but left aground after the tide went out. Temperature -0.6C at normal observational heighth (5 feet), but probably a lot lower down at sealevel. The airport, 4 miles away, reported -3C.
