Just a Skiff

There was just a light skiff of snow overnight, and it covered the ground with what looked like powdered sugar. I walked over to the ponds and discovered that the standing water was gone from the day before. This is a scene at the first pond. It seemed like the tree reflections on the pond and the log (with just a powdery touch of snow on it) in the water were reaching out to each other, trying to touch.

My soundtrack song . . . there were two I couldn't choose between, so here they both are: Dan Hill, with Sometimes When We Touch, from 1977; and Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, with Do You Wanna Touch Me (Oh Yeah), from 1980.
