Amazing that literally a few degree upturn in temperatures turned the glorious icey paths of yesterday into quagmires. Thankfully I’d gotten out quite early to enjoy the last of the solid ground before later & this photo saw my coastal walk become more like a route march. That said, Stevie & I watched https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/All_Quiet_on_the_Western_Front_(2022_film) last night which rather puts things into perspective!

CC arrived today & we are now snuggled up in Kirk so all is well.
