A Frosty Beach
H and I walked from West Runton to Cromer along the water's edge this afternoon. It was cold, crisp, sunny and no wind, just perfect for a beach walk. We walked along to the pier and sat on a sunny bench and had a delicious slice of Panettone and a flask of coffee before the walk back.
The parts of the beach that were in the shadow of the cliffs were still frosty, and the way the temperature was falling as the sun went down were likely to stay that way.
Dusk was beginning to fall when we got back and the sea was looking very serene (see extra).
A seriously spectacular sunset followed but I missed photographing it as I was driving home by then.
