The original Jemima Puddle - Duck

We went to Melford Hall (National Trust) this afternoon, A truly beautiful property. The owners at that time were related to Beatrix Potter, who stayed there on numerous occasions.
There were so many things I could have chosen for my blip - wonderful architecture, carved furniture and staircases, clocks, china etc. etc.
But I had to go with a blurred shot of Beatrix Potter's original Jemima Puddle-Duck!! Sorry - I have a soft spot for these stories!!
The pond at Melford Hall was the inspiration for the Jeremy Fisher book.
