Can you see my kingfisher here ?

We were standing on the boardwalk watching. He really is there. 

The lakes and pools were frozen so he had little choice to fish in the river. 

My blip is the beautiful light and scene as we watched. The kingfisher spent a long time on his branch, looking down into the water, preparing to dive.

My extra is the zoomed in photo of the same scene.

It’s a bonus to capture a photo, but the magic is in seeing the flash of blue and the thrill of seeing him.
