Birthday roast dinner

Ben didn’t sleep a wink last night. It was too frosty to go for a run so we drove down to Radnor Gardens and had breakfast in the cafe there. Later on , I went to Kingston to get a few more birthday presents for Jack. He’d asked us to get to his for 4pm but sent a text to aak us to get there a bit later because he was hungover. We’d planned to get a train to Clapham but there were lots of delays and cancellations so Bibi decided to drive. We had some champagne at Jack’s before heading to The Bobbin pub where he’d booked a table for 6pm. Our table was in a little snug with a dartboard so we played darts before our roast dinner. I can’t remember the last time I played darts in a pub. We were done by 8pm and we dropped Jack and Helena off before driving home. We were in bed by 9.30pm !!)
