words fail me

I went to the harbour for a coffee after lunch, as I had to go to the bank nearby anyway.

It was warm and sunny, and a real pleasure to sit on the pier afterwards just watching the tide come in.

10 minutes later, as I was half way home, came thunder, lightning, hail and torrential rain. Soaked just getting from car to front door.

I had to go out again before dinner - soaked again. Twice.
