Faraway, So close Shawl

This is my Faraway, So Close shawl I knitted with my homespun yarn. I plyed the marino with silk and I was very pleased with the effect. I finished off the bottom edge with some of the silk that was left over.
Hoovering and washing this morning with my new gadgets and they seem to be working well.
This afternoon R came over with her spinning wheel so we had a good blether along with some spinning.
Weather today was dry with a little sun but cold.
