Lovely Gift

We had a visit from a friend today. It was Perfect timing. She bought us 2 beautiful bunches of Tulips so this is one of them. I’d just got back from a blood test and had a blanket over my knees. It’s been difficult to get warm today. Now at 5 pm I’m just warming up and it’s time to cook tea. The weather outside looks lovely but ow! It’s cold, not sure I can imagine being warm again. But, how can I complain . . . . We have walls around us and even blankets to cover our knees, food to cook, and electricity or gas to cook with, wow, we have so much to be grateful for.
