Gallagher Park

Michael & Bella came for tea then we went for a walk to the local park, 2nd night in a row (was there last night with Mrs Unremarkable & Floyd). I obviously haven't been here in a while or else I have been totally unobservant as I have never seen this artwork before! How could I have missed this being unveiled in my own hometown back in Sep 2011! Prominent local people voted by the local people...not me though! It honours local animal welfare campaigner Mary Weightman, former GP John Brown and locomotive designer Sir Daniel Gooch...and a little Bedlington Terrier to the right. I like artwork like this.
