Ultimate Dog House

Dear O'H, Lovely Tea Jenny & Eldest Mini Princess,

We went out with Kitty Cat, Marsh, Justin & Gemma tonight. Justin & Marsh used to work together when Justin first moved to Edinburgh with his wife, Gemma and their baby daughter. They also used to drink together. A lot.

Gemma’s parents came to stay one Friday for the weekend. Justin was under strict instructions to be home by 6 pm but that still comfortably left time for a couple of pints after work with Marsh.

Except there was a Heineken rep in the pub giving out tokens for free beer and Marsh asked if he could had a word. “You need to get rid of beer and we want to get as drunk as possible. Maybe we found work something out,” Mash proposed.

Many many tokens later and Justin made it home at 9 pm. Gemma’s mother was VERY unimpressed and was giving him the cold shoulder so he took himself off to his daughter’s room to give her a goodnight kiss.

And because he was drunk, he had a little chat with his baby, “There’s only one thing wrong with your Grandma…and it’s her effin personality.”

He went downstairs to be met with stony silence. Not just from his mother-in-law, but also from Gemma…and then he heard his daughter gurgling…on the baby monitor.

There was NO getting out of that one.
