Auld Reekie Rooftops

Today was another working day littered with stresses and strains that come and go during the working week. Having been engrossed in my work for some time, I glanced up at the window to see the most wonderful light contrasts bestowed over the local urban landscape. Knowing it wouldn't be visible for long, I ran for the camera and, sure enough, within five minutes the sun had disappeared and it had become totally overcast and drab, but thankfully, I had got what I wanted.

We continue to endure the rain/sun/rain scenario in an extreme form but it can be most attractive as it changes from one to the other.
