Mossy cushions

Spent some time catching up with messages and emails this morning.  Then an afternoon walk down to the river; spotted these 'mossy cushions' on a wall on the way.

The temperature seems to have shot up overnight. About 10°C higher mid-afternoon than at the same time yesterday!
