Alterations...

This is what i do when there are big parts of a pastel painting that i don't like, or just can't seem to integrate!   I get out the gesso and dollop it on!!!  If this was a cold wax and oil paint i'd just paint over the parts i don't like, but with pastels, if i wanted to cover up whole sections it would take a lot of rubbing and a lot of pastel - and they are expensive!!!  So gesso is the answer.

We had a lot of snow yesterday and now it has been raining all day, the road and driveway are a mess....but thankfully our little car with studded tires can plow thro almost anything.   Had to get into town for a hair cut!
