Blue Skies and Red Holly Berries
We had a blustery winter day. It was also a pleasant carefree day with no day time commitments. Hubby and I put away all the Christmas boxes. Rather than have a fifth bedroom that we did not need, our builder made that room into a walk in storage area. It is so much easier not having to climb in an attic and will be even nicer as we continue to age. We have been trying to find his KofC sword and continued the search today to no avail. So many hiding spots are available. I pulled out boxes of little girl clothes that we decided to keep/hand down. Hopefully Lauren will get to go through them soon. Hubby and I had a few errands to run. We saw my sister and BIL who just happened to be shopping at the same store. The sky changed from foreboding dark clouds to this beautiful blue before we got back home. This holly tree is at the entrance of a new neighborhood on our street. Those red berries, bright green leaves and vivid blue sky, today’s amazing natural blessings, just had to be captured. It was a bit of a challenge with the constant wind gusts. Hubby and Kristen will go to the funeral home tonight and pay their respects to a young school father and fellow Knight. Kristen is friends with his wife. Otherwise, we will have a quiet evening. Thanks for the visit. Stay healthy. “I thank you God for this most amazing day, for the leaping greenly spirits of trees, and for the blue dream of sky and for everything which is natural, which is infinite, which is yes.” – E. E. Cummings
