Now that's more like it

After three weeks with no snow we had a big heavy wet one overnight. More than half a foot. Turning the dead grass white.
Mr. Cardinal and his young son (who was too fast for me) frolicked in the branches. Now I feel winter has properly gotten on its way.
Extra: my front yard with the snow covered driveway. No one here to shovel it but my house cleaner comes tomorrow in her big truck and she can pound the snow down.
