Lifeboats

Thank you all for your kind words yesterday.
Having 500 blips gave me the opportunity to look back. This time last year Adam had just done his first GCSE. This time tomorrow he will have done his first exam for his A Levels.

As I drove along Blackpool sea front this evening I saw the Lifeboat launching tractor.

My enquiries told me it was a routine exercise, that they do every Wednesday. So thankfully no rescue needed tonight.

This morning I took The Torch to meet someone who had asked for a photo with it. I really thought the interest would have diminished, but it appears not. 25 people later..... But I will never deny anyone the opportunity if they wish to take it.
