Ready or not - here I come.

A grey heron (Ardea cinerea) playing hide-and-seek with me at Kinghorn Loch bird-hide this afternoon.

I just made it to the hide in time before the heavens opened and torrential rain and hail lashed down. Four flashes and claps of thunder; two of them so VERY close at hand that the ground shook - they probably struck the TV mast just a mile away.
