Talking about Charity Shops, look what had been handed in to the Kirkcudbright one where I'm a volunteer.

I was in there this morning doing my usual stint when Avril opened up a box containing these beauties.  They looked as if they had never been worn with the original price on the sole - so that's maybe a bit sad?!  But aren't they magnificent?

Of course, it would take some expertise to walk in such shoes and it's not something that I ever mastered, being quite tall enough (thank you)  for most of my life.  But hopefully, someone will buy them - and they'll go on to enjoy a bit of the high life once more .......................!
