Great White Egret #13

Poor light and the non-arrival of the supposed high tide at Parkgate meant that there were lots of disappointed birders and photographers. Apart from a few distant egrets and the odd harrier, even further away, there was little action to be had. 
But a nice walk up past the golf course and back passed the time and it wasn't too bad weather wise with very little wind. 
We also spotted fellow blipper Sue (villan) on our way back and had a good catch up, followed by a delicious meal at The Boathouse pub. Worth the trip for the food, if not the photography :)
